For 15 years the Big Skill cic has provided creative activities across England and Wales, via Craft and Chat Wellbeing Workshops, Skills and Work Enhancement Accredited Training, Recycling Waste into Crafts and community designed sculptures.

"In the last three years Big Skill cic has run over 200 workshops, walks, projects & 25 accredited training courses at Craig-y-Nos country park & the surrounding Ystradgynlais, Aberdare, Brecon areas & at Hereford.

Now Springtime brings some exciting news:-

With funding from Community Foundation Wales/Welsh Church Act

We will be running over a dozen craft workshops, including a May Day event.

Later in the Summer with funding from the Moondance Foundation. We will be running 36 Rural Skills & Crafts From Waste Workshops - providing individual & community development.

Each workshop will be for up to 10 participants and run by a local, tutoring rural crafts.

The workshops will lead to ‘Rural Skills and Crafts’ & ‘Crafts from Waste,’ certificates & qualifications.

The Historical Potting Shed will be converted into a craft workshop and a sales area for crafts from recycled waste.
