The Big Skill CIC relies on funding and donations to keep our programme of free workshops in the community running. We are very fortunate to have a core team of tutors who will teach in as many places as possible, most recently over Zoom. A steep but fun learning curve for us all!
We have heard first hand from our participants of how these classes have been a virtual lifeline; preventing isolation, supporting all age groups, encouraging creativity, providing a distraction from the pandemic, and creating a new network of friends and support from all over the world.
Here are a few ways that you can help us

Become a Big Skill Hero
Your business or company, or an individual, can help to support us with a donation of £250. This is usually a single donation but can be set up annually if you wish.
Your contribution will pay for a tutor for one day, plus materials for a group of 10 participants. Who would otherwise face barriers preventing them from accessing a Big Skill craft workshop.

As a thank you, you will receive a free crafting kit, a voucher towards a workshop, plus priority booking for you and a friend.
Be a Champion of The Big Skill
If you would like to donate £1000 towards guaranteeing a course of four workshops plus all materials, you will help us support a rural crafts tutor and their students.
In return, you will receive 2 free craft kits. Plus an opportunity to book a workshop for yourself and up to 5 friends or colleagues with one of our tutors.
We also understand that many of us are finding this time to be a difficult one so you can simply amplify us by sharing our posts, newsletters, and online links, helping us reach a wider audience!
