About the Event
You will be using some basic metalworking tools such as a hammer, punches, pliers and a rivet gun. No experience is necessary though, as you will be guided throughout, and all tools are provided. You can use one of the kits on offer, and/or improvise with the materials available. You will be provided with a pre-drilled gas canister bug ‘body’ with the holes needed for attaching eyes, wings, antennae etc, using the pop rivets. Materials include washers, rivets, aluminium drinks cans, tin cans, recycled plastic parts, and beads etc for decoration.
