During this informal workshop at one of Aberdare’s most beautiful locations we will be observing and drawing herbs and then we’ll make up posies which we’ll paint using watercolours.

About the Event
Karin Mear will be leading this watercolour workshop. she will help and inspire you and share her own methods and tips that she’s discovered.
You will learn how to mix greens and how to use different brushstrokes to convey leaves and petals.
A variety of herbs will be provided for you to study - any contributions from your own garden or walks would also be welcomed!
All materials will be provided But feel free to bring your own favourite paintbrush if you have one.
The coffee shop at St Elvan’s will be open 10am - 4pm and there will be a short break during the workshop.
