About the Event

This introduction to Willow weaving is designed to give you a wide range of skills that will enable you to create several woven items, including birdfeeders, hanging decorations, and a large foraging basket. You will learn about how to prepare the willow for weaving, what tools you need, and how to go about building each project from the start to finish.   It will be fun and relaxed and mostly hands-on, there is a small amount of written work to complete your folders, but if you have any concerns regarding this I can help you, don't be afraid to ask! Willow weaving is a highly sustainable craft that is enjoyable and useful. So if you've ever fancied having a go at willow weaving, now is your chance! You must be available to commit to the four sessions starting on Wednesday 8th March, 15th,  22nd, and 29th from 10 am-2 pm. Please bring a packed lunch, there will be tea and coffee and biscuits provided.
