About the Event
A talk and walk exploring droving in Bannau Brycheiniog The combination of a talk and walk gives participants a chance to learn about the history and practices of droving and consider the drovers’ legacy in our landscape. After the 60 minute talk and short break we will put on our walking shoes and retrace the steps of the drovers. Over the three miles or so of the 1.5 hour walk we will encounter some of the features that identify droving routes. These include Scotts pines and hollow ways. The three-hour event can accommodate up to 15 participants. The walking is not challenging but does include rocky terrain which can also be muddy and wet.
This walk is suitable for teenagers and adults
