About the Event
Nigel Evans is a filmmaker. He won eight global film festival awards for his feature film Greed The Movie. He makes films on a shoestring budget, utilising guerilla filming techniques. The filmmaking workshop is open to anyone over 16 years and takes place at St Elvans Church in Aberdare. It’s a chance to find out about all aspects of small scale film making - framing shots, tracking, handheld camera and tripod work, scripting, lighting, recording sound. It’s also about making films with your phone / smartphone / iPhone etc. You’ll help to make a film on the day in St Elvans Church using various set ups and interview techniques. The film will be edited and there’ll be a basic editing session using Premiere Pro and Rush software.
