About the Event
This 6 week course will be led by four different tutors, all specialists in their own field. Â Helen Banthorpe will show you how to transform an old jam jar into a lovely lantern using different methods of glass decoration. Â Rachel Cadman will guide you how to take tools that can be found around the house and a variety of packaging from your recycle box and transform them into some really beautiful prints. Â Â Tina O'Keefe will inspire you to take offcuts of pre-loved fabrics and use them to create padded patchwork hanging hearts. Bridget Morgan will teach you the proddy rag rug technique, a very traditional method for recycling textiles. You will use this method to make a little autumn hedgehog, followed by a seasonal wreath. Â Â All of these sessions are suitable for both beginners and those who already have some experience. Â This is a 6 week Agored Cymru accredited course. By booking onto the course, you will be allocated a place on each of the 6 session, which you will be required to attend. Â Â Bring along a packed lunch and an apron for at least the first two sessions. Tools and materials will be provided by the tutor, but there will be opportunities to use some of your own pre-loved materials, should you so wish.
