About the Event
Lizzy owner of Pippin & Gile will guide you though the processes needed to create your own willow charcoal pencils. Alongside the physical steps she will use the science of fire to explain the changes that the willow is undergoing as it turns from wood to charcoal.
The workshops will take place over zoom, and will give you lots of time for instruction, to try it out yourself, to ask questions and to talk to others in the group too.
The kits will include a supply of dried willow and sawdust to pack your willow in whist you heat it.
