In the spirit of Make Do and Mend, you will learn how to embellish and breathe new life into your garments with Hand Embroidery.  Don’t throw away an item that is worn, torn or looking tired. With some simple stitches you can repair, patch and beautify your clothes saving money and the planet!  Hand embroidery is a rewarding skill to learn and develop, bringing a sense of achievement and satisfaction. Join a growing, global family of stitchers and be part of a movement to change attitudes and perceptions.  During the 4hr session I will teach you some basic embroidery stitches and guide you as you embellish, repair or enrich your garment.  I will provide the materials and equipment that you will need; you bring along an item or items of clothing we can work on.
